I Arthurs Fodspor - Exhibition

In 1931, Arthur Christian Jørgensen (1908-1994) founded the company that today is called Søby Værft.

Opposite Søby Værft you will find the exhibition I Arthurs Fodspor (In Arthur's Footsteps), which is housed in the building that was originally Arthur's old engine factory. In this authentic setting, you can delve into the story of Arthur and his importance to Ærø and Søby as a maritime hub.

On selected days you can join a guided tour of the harbour in Søby, led by former museum director Karen Margrethe Fabricius.
