IlluScience Museum

At IlluScience Museum in Thyborøn, the whole family becomes part of the experience. Across 500 m², children and adults can touch, try and explore more than 50 interactive exhibits combining illusions, science, technology, play and learning.

Challenge your family and friends in our popular Laser Maze, step inside the upside-down room and the tilted room, explore new worlds through virtual reality, and take fun photos at our 3D exhibits. You can also solve brain teasers and investigate experiments involving light, sound, movement, balance and the senses.

The exhibits explain in a fun and accessible way how the eyes and brain can be deceived and why our senses do not always show reality exactly as it is. At IlluScience, visitors do more than simply look at the exhibits – everyone is encouraged to explore, experiment, play and learn together.

On selected days, we also host a Science Show for children and adults. Experience fascinating scientific experiments involving liquid nitrogen, dry ice and magnets. The Science Show combines learning, surprises and entertainment and is included with admission. Current dates and times are available on our website.
