Kappendrup picnic area and playground

In the small village of Kappendrup - once a railway town - there’s a little spot right in the middle with parking spaces, a playground for the kids, outdoor fitness, and tables and benches.

Under a shady tree you’ll find a memorial stone marking the 10th anniversary of Denmark’s liberation after the occupation in 1940–45.

A bit further down the road, behind Kappendrup 55, there’s a long barrow from the Stone Age, with the slightly unusual name “Kappendrup Church.”
