Nature camp school - Foreningen Hou Skole
Camp school with lots of beautiful nature around and near Lohals town and beach.
The Hou School Nature Camp has been transformed from a small disused school, is located on Nordlangeland near Lohals and offers accommodation for groups, family reunions and parties. With woods and nature in the backyard, and only 500 metres to the beach, this camp is well located for a variety of activities. It's also only 300 metres to the nearest grocery store where you can pick up supplies.
Plenty of space and good conditions
The camp has room for around 50 people, with the possibility of more people sleeping if you pitch tents on the sports field or in front of the classrooms. You can use the old school's gymnasium, playing field and schoolyard to organise various activities.
Activities at the old school
Events and various activities are organised at the old school by the associated association. These include a book café, communal dinners, summer and Christmas markets, crafts and krolf. The area is also one of Denmark's best places to observe bird migration.
