Nyhavns Færgekro

Picturesque Nyhavn is situated only a stone's throw from Kongens Nytorv. Nyhavns Færgekro (Ferry Inn) is located in one of the 17th century houses that formerly housed a shipping company. The Inn's herring buffet is as appetizing as it is large. Specialties include mustard-cured herring, 'rullemops' and pickled herrings coated in rye. Everything is prepared according to tradition from fresh spring or autumn herring. In addition to the herring, there is also a large selection of open-faced sandwiches to choose from. Miss Berg's prize-winning fish rissoles are always a safe bet. Enjoy the rissoles while studying the beautiful model ships and sailing-boat pictures on the walls.
