Øster Plantage plantation is one of Holstebro's oldest, and a jewel in the centre of town. As part of Østre Plantation you find 'Folkeparken' a job training project from the beginning of the 1940's.
Holstebro Orienteering Club has several posts in the plantation and several memorials can also be found in the plantation.
