Poulette
On Møllegade in the heart of Nørrebro, Poulette serves crispy fried chicken sandwiches, delicious fries, and spicy fried mapo tofu. Poulette opened in December 2020 and is owned by the team behind the natural wine bar, Pompette, next door.
Poulette’s concept is simple but brilliant, nonetheless. Crispy fried chicken or vegetarian fried mapo tofu with pickled cucumber, mayo, cheese, and lettuce served in a soft brioche bun with mayo. You can either eat your sandwich outside on the small plastic chairs or take it with you on the go. Apart from excellent sandwiches, we highly recommend trying Poulette's fries, which are seasoned with their personal spice mix and served with a Sichuan pepper mayo.
