At Ringsted Music & Culture School, we orient ourselves both towards each other and our surroundings – in search of inspiration that can challenge and stimulate ongoing development. We work towards accessibility and aim to be a visible and dynamic cultural player in the local community.

Academy K

Academy K is part of Ringsted Music & Culture School and offers a program for young people in Ringsted with a special talent for creative subjects like visual arts, music, electronica, or performing arts.

It is an academy for 13-18-year-olds who have the desire and ability to push their creative expression to the next level. You must strive to improve, but passion is what drives the work.

Teaching in multiple lines

You are attached to one of the lines and meet weekly for classes within that line. However, Academy K is also a large artistic community where you regularly work on projects and meet across lines to inspire each other with your differences. The program starts in October and ends in late March.

Admission

It is a talent academy, so you must be good at something. However, the most important thing is that you want something and are passionate about it – then you'll go far at Academy K. You can read about the admission criteria on each line's page.

Application deadline: October 1st – and application deadline June 1st for current students who want to secure a spot for the next season.
