Sansefestival - Struer

Food festival – a market for all senses!

12. August 2017

The Sansefestival is a food fair representing regional foods from the Limfjord and region Midtjylland. Struer city center is transformed into an enchanting marked place that affects all senses with its abundant supply of tasty local foods.

The freshness and quality is high. Several of the producers have international buyers and deliver to the finest restaurants from the Limfjord and from the rich fields of Midtjylland. Taste the famous Limfjord mussels, price winning ecological duck, and local farm products produced with love and care for taste and quality.

The festival has different themes. You can visit areas with Nordic Cookery, the Sweet Tooth, Drops from West Jutland, the Fjord, The Dining Board, The Exploratorium, Conversation Kitchen and Play & Learn. You will have the opportunity to meet guest performers from the world of food.

Since the first festival of the senses in 2010, our concept has developed into a refined food festival based on regional products. In 2012 we had 10.000 guests in one day at the festival which makes it the primary food festival in North West Jutland.

Our focus is on quality foods, ecology, future food innovation, reducing food waste and Nordic Cookery.

You are welcome to contact us for further information about the festival. See the program here.
