Sauntehus Castle Hotel

The Sauntehus estate was built by a corn merchant named Hald in 1914 and is thus a comparatively recent build. The estate is beautifully located near Hornbæk, surrounded by a unique park with rare trees and bushes. It is situated close to some of the most distinguished castles in Denmark - Kronborg (10 km.) and Frederiksborg Palace. The main building, with an almost royal tower, has a look of extravagance, and in the years following the construction, the wealthy owners enjoyed their everyday life and celebrations there. In 1998, Sauntehus was converted into a castle hotel which you can now experience, as your base while you go sightseeing and enjoy many activities from here.
