Sculpture in Hjerting Strand Park by Esbjerg

In Hjerting Strandpark you will find the strangely beautiful sculpture “I am your yesterday – and you are my tomorrow”, which like a lonely wave goes against the tide and meets the sea. The work has been created by the internationally recognised Portuguese artist Rui Chafes, who is also represented in the collection at Esbjerg Art Museum.

The sculpture has been donated by the Lida and Oscar Nielsen Foundation which also donated Hjerting Strandpark to the municipality of Esbjerg.
