Skidt, Pyt og nissen – Christmas theatre at Teatergården
Experience an old-fashioned country Christmas when the puppets Skidt and Pyt get a visit from a hungry elf. A Christmas show with theatre, song and dance for children and adults – followed by homemade cake and crafts in the café.

Teatergården lies in green surroundings near Holbæk and makes theatre for children and adults. At Christmas it performs Skidt, Pyt og nissen, which combines theatre, dance and song with a cosy afternoon (in Danish). See performances and tickets on Teatergården's website.
When the elf gets hungry
The felt puppets Skidt and Pyt are bored because all the children are so well-behaved at Christmas. Then the Christmas elf drops by – and he is hungry. Together they head to the kitchen, where baking is under way. The biscuits are good, but the elf would rather have rice pudding – and that does not quite go to plan.
An old-time country Christmas
The show is set on a farm in the old days, and along the way children learn how children lived back then. The music was written for the show, and there is singing and dancing.
Cake and crafts afterwards
After the show it is off to the café for homemade cake, juice, tea and coffee, plus cut-and-paste sheets featuring Skidt and Pyt. The whole visit takes about three hours.
Practical information
Tickets are bought in advance via Teatergården's website. Questions about ages and times can be sent directly to Teatergården.
