Søndervig Beach
The beach lies on the North Sea coast and is a popular bathing beach. It is typical of a North Sea beach with high dunes, fine sandy beach and the chance of brisk winds and big waves.

Getting there, parking and facilities: You can drive to the beach via Badevej. There is parking at several places in Søndervig town, close to the shops, and access to the beach via a 200-metre boarded walkway. The path provides access for wheelchair users, bathers with pushchairs and people with limited mobility.
Information: At the beach you can find information about bathing safety and Badepunkt swimming spots. Lifeguards patrol the beach at certain times during peak season – information can be found at the beach.
Visitors: Locals from nearby towns, e.g. Hvide Sande and Ringkøbing, and holiday visitors. The town is popular with tourists from Denmark and abroad.
