Storytelling in the light of the church - Rudkøbing
17:00-17:45: Strynø Literary Association invites you to an atmospheric evening with storyteller Ellen Mortensen at Rudkøbing Church.
Stories of darkness – and the light within it
When darkness takes shape through stories
Darkness can take many forms. It can envelop us, or it can come from within. In Rudkøbing, storyteller Ellen Mortensen puts the darkness into words and images through a series of stories centred on its various forms.
A glimmer of hope
Through these stories, darkness is allowed to take centre stage, but perhaps there is also a glimmer of hope hidden somewhere within. Come and listen as Ellen Mortensen lets the stories conjure up images in the light of the church.
Light in the Darkness
The event is part of the ‘Light in the Darkness’ cultural weekend taking place on Langeland and Strynø on Friday 6 November and Saturday 7 November 2026. See the full programme at www.govisitlangeland.com/light
