Tales of Fate walk - a guided tour in Ribe with exciting stories
Join one of the skilled guides through the city’s streets and hear dramatic stories of human destinies, faith, hope, and dark chapters from Ribe’s past.
Ribe is Denmark's oldest town, and it has never been a boring place to live.
Throughout history, Ribe has been the center of many dramatic events such as regicides and witch burnings, and perhaps there is a ghost or two hovering around the town's streets.
An experienced guide will take you on an atmospheric walk through the city of Ribe and its exciting history.
You will be introduced to the most hair-raising and nerve-wracking stories, and thereby get a better feel for the city's origins.
The tours are conducted in Danish and English every Wednesday evening at 9:00 PM in July and August (start 8th July)
The tour begins at the Museum Ribes Vikinger, Odins Plads in Ribe.
Duration approx. 1 hour.
Price per person DKK 85.00. Children up to 12 years free.
