Svend - Filmdays

SVEND Filmdage is an annual event in Svendborg where film audiences and industry professionals gather for a diverse programme centred around film. The week features screenings, previews, workshops, talks and open-air events across the town.

The festival concludes with the SVEND Award ceremony at the town square, where audience favourites from the past year are celebrated. Actors and directors attend as the red carpet is rolled out, and the winners are chosen by the audience.

Each year, an honorary guest from the film industry is also celebrated. Previous guests include Susanne Bier, Lars Mikkelsen and Bille August.
