Torpedo Stations Strib | Middelfart

During World War II, the Germans established 12 torpedo stations in the slopes after Strib Nordenbro with four smaller bunkers above to monitor the Little Belt.
The torpedoes were transported from the stations into the water along some concrete tracks. From here, they would then be wire-guided towards a possible target in the Little Belt.
Apart from a few exercises, the torpedo stations never entered operation, and after the occupation, they were all demolished with explosives.
There is now a reconstruction of a torpedo station, and you can still find the original concrete tracks.
