Troense Harbour
Troense Harbor is located on Tåsinge in a scenic bend in the eastern Svendborg Sound – by the charming skipper town, Troense.
From the harbor, you can watch the traffic right out in Svendborg Sound where many sail around on day trips and the Sund ferry Helge chugs by, offering a cozy transport option into Svendborg.
Just above the harbor is Hotel Troense, which is an excellent place to eat. Local residents have established a grocery store, Storms Hjørne, located 200 meters from the harbor. Here you can get the most common everyday items.
If you want to go to nearby Svendborg, it's only 5 km away – a beautiful trip over the Svendborgsund Bridge. If you want to take the trip by bike, you can rent bikes from the harbor master. The trip is also suitable for walking, and buses run every half hour. In Svendborg, you will find all kinds of specialty shops in the cozy, winding pedestrian streets. If the weather turns wet, there are exciting museums and cultural experiences for a rainy day for both children and adults. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants; a thriving music scene and a lively nightlife.
