Vedersø Klit Beach

Vedersø Klit Strand offers West Danish nature with tall dunes, white sand, and roaring waves from the North Sea. This popular beach is the perfect place for a swim.

Vedersø Klit Strand or Vedersø Dune Beach is a long and broad sandy beach situated on the Danish West coast. Here, you can relax and play in the sand or have fun in the waves of the North Sea. You can also spot a bunker or a seamark. The beach has the Danish Outdoor Council’s Swimming Point Flag, meaning that the beach is safe, and the water is clean. Close to the beach, you will find a parking lot, public restrooms, and a grill café. The beach is located at Vedersø Klit, a lovely holiday area with a hotel, a camp site, and summer houses.

Bathing Point Award

Vedersø Klit Beach has received the Bathing Point Award, recognising its excellent bathing conditions, high water quality and strong focus on safety. The award makes it easy to choose a beach where quality and safety are prioritised, allowing you to enjoy Denmark's North Sea coast in peaceful and scenic surroundings. The beach offers facilities including toilets and lifesaving equipment.
