From dairy to furniture factory

Tullebølle Andelsmejeri was founded in the mid-1880s and was in operation until April 1968. The dairy was primarily known for its cheese production. After the dairy closed, Hestbæk Møbelfabrik, which was best known for its sofa beds, moved in. In 2001, the furniture factory moved its production to Ribe. The employees were offered the opportunity to move with them, but only a few took up the offer. The property was then sold and taken over by Alaska/Kimex A/S, which manufactures sprinkler fluid, among other things.
