The Blue Clover Leaf Route in Otterup
The blue cloverleaf trail is a great way to experience Otterup's history!

Experience Otterup’s history on a cosy walk along the “Blå Kløversti” (Blue Clover Trail). The route takes you from the old railway station around town, showing how Otterup has grown from Viking times to today.
The walk starts at Torvet (the main square) in Otterup and follows Bredgade past the old station. The station was built in 1882 and helped Otterup grow into a bigger town.
Next, the route continues up Galgedil, where a Viking burial site with more than 40 graves was discovered.
On the way back, you’ll pass Otterup Church, built in the 1100s. It’s a great place to take a break and enjoy the view.
You’ll also go by the old poorhouse hospital, built in 1772. It was used to help people who were poor and sick, and it stayed in use all the way until 1925.
