At Flid Estate you can enjoy a fully integrated farm experience: explore the animals, taste homemade dishes in the café, and fill your basket with local delicacies made from the estate’s own produce.
The estate is beautifully set in the countryside, combining farming with gourmet experiences. In the farm shop you will find, among other things, beef from the estate’s Scottish Highland cattle, pickled specialities, homemade bread and craft beer. Every weekend, the café serves brunch and lunch made with seasonal produce and the farm’s own meat.
The café experience at Flid Estate
At weekends the café opens its doors to you. Choose between a well-prepared brunch, a fresh lunch, or simply a cup of coffee with homemade cake. The menu changes with the seasons, and the dishes highlight the balance between vegetables and meat – always centred around the estate’s own produce.
Meet the animals and enjoy the landscape
You can take a tour of the estate, meet the free-ranging animals, and gain an insight into the daily workings of the farm. Afterwards, a walk around nearby Himmelsø – a scenic local lake – is highly recommended, where you can enjoy the tranquillity of nature.
The farm shop and special events
In the farm shop you can sample cured sausages, pick up treats for your picnic basket, and get tips for cooking with the estate’s produce. In addition, there are pop-up events such as pizza evenings, tastings and themed dinners, all based on seasonal ingredients.
