We welcome you to Hotel & Restaurant Fakkelgaarden - a restaurant with one of the most beautiful locations in Denmark. Every single room looks out over the beautiful Flensburg Fjord, where you can enjoy the marvellous view of a constant fleet of many different kinds of ships and the town of Flensburg on the horizon. Fakkelgaarden was built on the foundation of the old venerable "Kollund Vandrehjem" (a youth hostel), dating back to 1934. The conversion of the buildings to match the countryside has been gently completed, and over the years guests from many different nations have been welcomed
