GENDER on the agenda
KØN - Gender Museum Denmark was founded over 30 years ago and became known as the Women's Museum in Denmark, where women's culture and history were largely underexposed. A lot has happened since then in the relationship between the sexes. Men's roles and function in society have also changed significantly. Cultural heritage rests in some places on old divisions between genders and roles, while the present expects freer expression of all genders. That's why the museum GENDER deals with gender culture in a broader perspective and involves everyone across genders.
