Rø Church

Rø Kirke is located in Rø, Bornholm. The present church from 1888 replaces a Romanesque church, which was demolished in 1887, when it was considered to be so dilapidated that it could not be saved.

Church from 1888 in >> Neo-Romanian style. Almost a copy of church from approx. 1200. In porch and tower rooms there is different fragments from the old church. The altar board and pulpit are from the beginning of the 17th century.
