The Timber House in Bogense
This impressive old white building towers on the corner of Adelgade and Kirkestræde - it's the so-called Timberhouse!

Trægården (The Timber House) is one of the old merchants’ stores in Bogense and has been beautifully restored.
The half-timbered building is from the 17th century.
The building has also been used as a trading warehouse, a timber merchant (hence the name), a shelter for refugees, a jail and a tourist office.
Today, there are apartments in the building.
