Trail of Ancient Timea - Skodborg Huse, lateral moraine

Close to Fabjerg Church is Skodborg Huse. Here you can see a verge moraine. A verge moraine is an oblong high created by the ice pushing the ground in front of it. You can stop at Galge Hill, read about the history of the hills and enjoy the view from the top.

The fact that there has been a main road wound here may be partly due to the fact that the rim moraine has formed a water barrier, so that it was possible to walk dry along the edge of the Main residence line.
